I join in a baking class recently. I haven’t baked something new for long time. This kind of class let me learn something new, even some are too difficult to make at home, however I still enjoy. Last week, I learned a kind of American chocolate biscuit, and that isn’t difficult to make. Today is a holiday for laborer in Taiwan, I don’t have other activities, so I tried to bake this biscuit at home.

Material:
Sugar 105g
Brown sugar 100g
Butter 200g
Bread flour 270g
Cocoa powder 50g
Baking powder 7g
Bake-able chocolate bean 100g
 
Beat together the butter (soften) and sugar, brown sugar until light and creamy. Fold in the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and mix to dough. Then stir in chocolate bean. Place on freezer around 20 minutes. Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls, place onto greased oven trays, allowing about 3cm between cookies; flatten slightly.
Bake in moderate oven (around 180) about 18 minutes. Cool cookies on trays.
MAKES ABOUT 45.
